Opening Tomorrow at CORE Gallery

Detail from "Sleepwalker" by Jim Stoccardo

Detail from "So What" by David Hytone

Today I'm helping out over at CORE Gallery where I've been lucky enough to preview the new show that opens tomorrow night for Pioneer Square's First Thursday Arts Walk. On view through February 27th are new works by David Hytone and Jim Stoccardo.

Jim Stoccardo is a Seattle artist that has long been a favorite. His pieces are always full of storybook whimsy. Coming by to enjoy all the little details in his City series he has on view is worth your while - truly! Plus, what's not to love about giraffes and rhinos in the street?
David Hytone's work is bold, organic and free. Pictured above is a detail shot from one of my favorite pieces, "So What". I just love his free use of color!

Together, these two Seattle artists have popped a ton of color into the gallery. A perfect show to fight off February blues!
